Recycle Old Clothes | Men's Blazer

So a friend gave us these blazers that they got at a thrift store and couldn't use. One of them was a little small already and I thought it was a great opportunity to tailor. Make it a little more fitted, sew on some elbow patches, and voilĂ ! A brand new blazer.
My mother found these little heart-shaped doily's left behind by the old owner when they moved into their new house. She gave them to me, not knowing whether I'd be able to find anything to do with them, but I realized they're perfect for elbow patches!

I had to take the body of the blazer in quite a bit, as well as making it a shorter length, but I think the lace elbow patches turned out perfectly!
