Recycled Dress Clutch

So last week I showed you how to make a rug out of dresses. This week I found another good re-purposing project. I had a cute dress that had ripped down one side and the zipper busted. I held onto to it thinking I could maybe use the fabric at some point.
A clutch is probably one of the easiest things to make. Take a rectangle piece of fabric, fold the bottom half up to create the pocket part of the clutch, then fold the top half over and use something to secure it, like a button. Even if you don't have a sewing machine, hand-stitching doesn't take long.  Here is the dress before...

I like how cute and vintage the pattern looks.
